From email just in:

We are writing to advise the introduction of parcel lodgement process changes.

From 31 May 2026, you will be required to provide recipient contact details for every parcel.

You will soon receive a separate email outlining changes to your MyPost Business Online Sending Terms of Use.

Re: AP changes

I don't think that will make any difference, twyn ๐Ÿ˜ž

It's nothing to do with flat rate or calculated, but when it's lodged over the counter.  Well at least that's my understanding. That being said, I'm still trying to digest the implications.

Re: AP changes

Not sure ' pre paid ' has anything to do with it - it's lodgement - phone or email.

Re: AP changes

You get an eBay generated one. Which means the buyer would have to check their eBay notifications to get the AP message.

Think I signed up years ago - but have never used mypost - don't need it.

That's why I received the email.

But it is all lodgements - no matter how they are done - labels - over the counter etc etc etc.

Some buyers don't include their phone number as ebay does not require it so a work around would be using your own. Not ideal as you will get notifications and if the driver needs to call that would be fun.

Bwahahahahahaha....what a crock.

Of course they require a buyer's phone number... and it's provided with every transaction.

Re: AP changes

Personally, I don't see an issue. AP will be requiring the information they are already provided... it's really no biggy.

What the email actually says... although you already provide the receiver's contact details, we now "require"  you to provide those same details.

Nothing to see here... move along
