AUST TURBO LISTER INSTAL DRAMAS - Authsign in denied have to call customer service??

Please help

Having MAJOR dramas just installing bloody TL.

Three times I have double checked that I am on AU Ebay, from the TL help pages (AU) I have installed TL.

I get turbo_lister2/setupAU.exe, so I install, firewall checks all done and system requirements all good, so..

When it comes to TL finish installing and screen opens, it asks me to sign in, then pop up screen opens needing to link to Ebay AU etc, so log in with correct user ID and password. Just to double check, I make sure I sign in to Ebay AU as well, just to have it open and ready.

I keep getting this dam message saying: Turbo lister Authorisation, Please confirm your identification, contact customer support call: 800-093-577, quote security code:.........and then press continue after talking with an agent.

Now, to me this looks like a US phone number to me. Did I mention I am currently overseas while trying to do this? Does this affect my IP address and needing to install this while in Aust?

Why would I need to call the US if I have downloaded the TL AU version? 3 downloads later and laptop about to go out the window. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as need to start developing templates and uploading in bulk ASAP

If you are in a different country, your IP address will indicate that, and I imagine might raise a red flag on your account if it is registered in Australia.

If it is a Trust and Safety issue, then I think the only way to sort it, is to ring ebay direct.

I have downloaded the Au version of Turbo Lister while I have been in the UK without any problems however the first time I used eBay from there I had to go through the phone verification procedure and once I had done that everything worked fine including TL.

OK, Thanks for that, will load my phone up with a hefty amount of credit and give it a go, fingers crossed. Were you on hold for long?

Serenity the phone verification should be to a local number to where ever you are now and it is ebay who call you, you just fill in the local number you want them to call. In most places it is fairly inexpensive to use Skype to call overseas. I am lucky in that when I am in the UK I can phone Aus and talk for up to an hour at no call cost but when I am in Aus I use Skype to phone the UK!
