Why is it that ebay allows a buyer to abuse sellers repeatedly but does not do anything to penalise the buyer?.
I had 100% perfect feedback until I had a creepy called "removed" abused and defamed me, and threatened police action, without the slightest attempt to resolve HIS issue. Paypal refused to refund his payment to me based on my selling history, but I still keep the abusive feedback.
Now I find this cretin has 35 outstanding highly abusive interactions with other ebay members and I have still not had recourse from ebay.
I HAVE STOPPED SELLING UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED and I look elsewhere to BUY!! Fix this ebay,
its completely inequitable and leaves a VERY BAD TASTE in my mouth.

I could be wrong, but I think the OP would have given as much abuse as he got.

Quite frankly, I think your topic should have read.... Abusive Sellers on Ebay.

There seems to be a consensus. Given the unlikelihood of that happening on the eBay boards, there is a fair to absolute chance that you are wrong.

That old chestnut....
Word of advice, don't do it to yourself. For every buyer that gives up, theres another 9 ready to fill his place. Don't give the system the satisfaction. The best way is to desensitize yourself to negative feedback. There is just no avoiding it no matter how good you are and theres extreme lack of support. Always do the right thing by your customers and keep your chin up. Most people know the situation and realize a few percent means zilch.
Good luck.

do you have ESP? The reason I ask is because of something I saw on your feedback page. I took a screen grab to show it (I underlined some)
Hes just sensitive and doesn't know yet how to deal with the issue. We all started off touchy until we found a groove. He's reacting and trying to find a solution to the problem but has totally miss cued. Anti social messages just put people off and get potential buyers backs up. Just relax a bit, lose the public announcements and just maintain good business ethics.

Yeah completely agree with you please watch out for a buyer named (removed) this buyer will read your listing which says NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS so please choose carefully. Then he'll choose your product purchase it and after it arrives he'll complain it was not what he wanted and demand a refund with no offer to return your product . Doesn't matter what you say stating that the listing says NO RETURNS he rewrite the terms and conditions to suit himself .If you don't refund his money he'll initiate a chargeback in paypal WITHOUT WARNING and if you don't fight it and state your case he'll not only get his money back he'll end up keeping your product. In my case Paypal forced him to return my product before they refunded him and after all that he still nailed me with negative feedback and rating which Ebay refused to remove because they said it did not violate feedback abuse policy. As far as I am concerned this buyer got his money back but he ended 2nd best out of the dispute because he had to return the product so in malice he stabbed me in the back with negative feedback . Watch out for this buyer dispite what you say in your listing regarding terms and conditions of sale,he'll rewrite them to suit himself get what he wants from you and stab you in the back at the same time. Block him and warn all other sellers to block him he's a crook. Regards (removed).

Hi Shyman, you can't name dodgy buyers (or sellers) on the forums. As you can probably see by now, the mods have been in and removed the name. Wish I had of seen it first before they removed it!!!
I think it's wrong that you can't name bad buyers. Sellers should be able to block serial pests so they don't end up having the same problems. As it stands, the pests are allowed to remain anonymous and carry on ripping honest sellers off.

What you might like to do is read up on buyer and seller policies.
Regardless of your 'no returns no refunds' policy the buyer has an absolute right to claim for not as described. They might have to return to you at their expense, but you can't refuse.
If a buyer did have to return a defective item at their own expense and you didn't cover the return postage, they are within their rights to leave3 you a neg, as they have been left with no item plus the cost of returning the defective item. i certainly would in that sort of case.
