Hi All
I am just looking for some information. We have 3 Stores 1 belongs to my wife and 2 belong to me. This store mainly sells Trading Cards, My other store sells a bit of everything. My wife's Store sells mainly Magazines and Bric A Brac. Would it be against eBay Policies/Rules to advertise different stores within a listing? Example Using the Insert Store Logo for This store Stating The Store Sells Trading Cards. Then inserting my second Store logo with the hyperlink to my second store Stating what is there and Then adding my wife's store using the same Logo Stating Magazines and books. Just Interested Thank You
Paddy

Nope, It's only naughty to link to outside of ebay websites.

I wouldn't link your wife's account to either of yours. As it is an account in a different name there should be no interaction between the two.

We operate two selling IDs as stores, one in my name and the other in my wife's name.
We have been putting cross-linking (clickable links) in the description fields between the two stores for some years now.
We have never had any question from ebay about it.
The only rule I am aware of about links is that they cannot link to any other selling venue off ebay either directly or indirectly.
You can use links to other sites that will enhance the description of your item.
eg Youtube videos that might give instructions on how to use the item or similar.
We are also unsure if anyone ever uses these links as there is little evidence to suggest that a buyer actually reads the descriptions let alone click on a link in there to go to our other ebay store.
But I would never put a link in there to our website as I'm sure that would get their attention very quickly.
Just like you cannot put links embedded into the body of a message. That will be blocked and the message will not send.

Everything Clarry said.
I even have a Click Here button linking one to this one - not convinced it has ever been clicked though.

As others have said, Ebay simply doesnt want their business going elsewhere. Theres nothing wrong with linking to your other stores within Ebay, they'd only have a problem with links to sites away from Ebay where they wont make any money. Cross selling is part of the selling game in most industries.
However....
I would keep at least one store seperate. There's been so many horror stories on here about accounts being closed AND any other stores or accounts being linked to them (through address / name / email / bank account / Ebays delusions) closed as well (often permanently) because of Ebay and Paypal stupidity. Just search these forums and google.
In the very off unlikely chance that would happen, having stores in different names, and keeping them seperate could come in very handy.
