Hi Can someone please assist me as this is my first time on eBay , I have listed a few products as a test run but have had 0 views and the items have been listed for 3-4 days , I don't have a shop setup nor have I paid for any promote items , not sure what I am doing wrong , have taken pics and placed list item with around 32 listings but 0 views on every item. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I had a quick look (so it should show a couple of views now๐)
All I can think of is it may be the category plus the specific items. The photos look good, very clear. Not a lot of description but I think the main thing is someone has to be interested in the book topics/authors you have advertised.
You may just have to be patient.
If I had to guess, I'd say the Donna Hay and Jamie Oliver books are in with a good chance, they are popular names. Plus Gordon Ramsey and Enid Blyton.
People sometimes search with key words, I know I do. Whether many people are looking for eg Australian methods of construction though, I don't know. You will need to wait till the right person comes along.
I am not sure having a shop would help. Once you have a few sales and some feedback, that might help.
Quite possibly a lot of people have scrolled past your items, just not opened them to specifically 'look'.
Hang in there.

You have listed in โother antiquesโ which they are notโฆ..
Have a look whether anyone has sold your items, and change to that categoryโฆ

Why have you chosen ' antiques ' for books. ??

I think it might be the category that is the problem. If I was searching, for example, for a Donna Hay book, I would be looking in the "book category".
Also, as first time sellers are usually asked here.....are you properly signed up as a seller? And are you aware that when you do make a sale, eBay may (probably will) hold the funds for up to 30 days?

Personally, I would not buy something in a category that was way off
I'd be worried what else about the listing is incorrect

Sandy - you would never find it in a category that was way off.
The authors of those books aren't 100 years old - let alone the books. LOL

Unless I was looking for something else I wanted in that category and stumbled across a book I wanted by chance
I would not buy that book for the reason mentioned, no matter how much I wanted it

As everyone else has suggested, the fact that these are all listed in a totally wrong category is not helping you. As you have no bids I would suggest that you end all the items. You will not lose the listings - they will be in your Unsold Not Re-listed under Listings - Overview - Seller Hub. Then you can go through and amend each listing as appropriate under the Books category. You will need to do this individually as there will be different required Item Specifics for each listing. I am guessing that you have done your homework and priced competitively taking postage costs into account. I don't sell or buy in the (new) (newish) Books category so can't give any useful advice there, except to say that almost everything seems to sell as BIN or Best Offer - so listing as auction may be counter-productive. Good luck.

I'm not the OP ๐
Totally agree with the advice you have given them though
