Thanks for the reply guys I really appreciate it. Unfortunately with this buyer you would have sensed it would make no difference as they did not open a dispute. I do beloeve has was broken. I have had no disputes ever since starting selling (yes I know :)) I would rather not fighting and the $10 refund is not a big deal it is the fact that I don't want buyers to thing I package items badly. The first offer of sensing a replacement was ignored that is why I offered a partial refund for feedback revision. She is the type that wasn't going to be happy with any solution provided over such a trivial thing. But she did agree to go with it and my question is whether than should be enough todelete the feedback as I provided her 3 options if she can revise feedback and se agreed even though in her response she did not say 'yes I will revise feedback'
Cheers

Sadly tstore there are always those that can never be satisfied no matter what.
I read some other feedback left by disgruntled buyers and cringe for the seller.
My pet hate is postal times.
I saw one - Excellent item Shocking Postage time Shame on Aus Post.
Too bad the the seller copped the neutral not AP !
I don't think buyers understand the ramifications of feedback to a seller and most understand the DSR system even less. ๐

What is wrong with the follow up feedback I left?
Nothing wrong with your response. I do not think it matters if the follow up brings attention to the FB; if buyers are looking at FB they click on the number of NEGs and neutrals and read them anyway.
I really would not worry about it; I do not believe your sales have plunged because of this one FB; sales have been really bad all around. They always are this time of the year and people get always cautious with their money before elections. With Abbott promising to reverse all the ALP's people are concerned about losing all the compensation and tax reductions we have.
