So yesterday a user bought my item, I then received a message for me to ship the item the same day and she gave an email\ and WhatsApp number, she also gave me a different address, an Australian address different to the address given in eBays delivery address which was in the United States, when we spoke on WhatsApp, she asked my PayPal details and email and pictures of the item which I gave, then she asked for a small favour which was to buy a $300 iTunes card to put in the same package and the item I was selling, I received an email from PayPal saying $600 will be transferred to me providing I buy the item and send her a photo of the receipt and what not, only then will the funds be released, there's no funds in my PayPal account or is there one on hold, but on eBay it says her payment is waiting because the funds for my item has been confirmed, I have a strong feeling in my gut this is a scam because when I typed her email in google, it linked me to scam sites and links, could you please advise me on what to do and am I being scammed? Will I have to pay eBay the funds if I or her cancels the sale and the funds need to be returned???

SCAM....................and a known one at that.
Cancel the sale and block the eBayer.
They often pick on new accounts.

SCAM. Cancel the sale using 'something wrong with buyer's address' to get your fees back.
Stop all communication and change all passwords.
Block the ID
Do not reply to any more messages or emails

She now knows your PP email address but can't access your account without your password. Beware of any suspicious PP emails you might get in the near future and don't click on any suspicious links, just in case they are phishing links...

Thanks heaps, I actually gave her a tracking number but managed to call up the post office and tell them to hold it for me and that I’ll pick it up on Monday, so her funds still show but thank you so much 🙏

110% scam
What kind of PayPal details did you give them? ('only' the email address or something else?)

As mentioned, be aware of scam emails you may now be flooded with (they may not just come from the email address she gave you)
Block that email address and be careful of any odd messages you get
