Can someone please help me. I have just sold on Ebay. The funds are pending in Paypal. Apparently this is from Ebay? Is this correct?

That is what it certainly sounds like
Which is why I asked if it was their own account they are posting with (not that I would expect an honest answer if it's not, but they should be aware how very suss it looks none the less)

The thing is, they have sold before. Therefore, they would/should have known about the 21 day hold as it would have applied to them previously. Yet they post like they knew nothing about it, which raised my suspicion.
A non suspect post would have read "I have sold in the past and had my funds held until after I'd sold so many things. Now, I've sold some more things after a year or so away, and I'm now having my funds held again. What is going on?".

The 21 day hold is fairly new Tippy....maybe the OP was not caught by it over a year ago.

It's been in place since 2014. When it first came in, establised sellers suddenly found themselves having their funds held. It took some argy bargy from the FOS for them to life those holds for those sellers. I was one of them. After I had it lifted, it applied to all accounts, including new ones I'd created after it came in.

Not sold for over a year, on a low feedback account, hijacked? Interesting that both auctions had a 1 feedback buyer, bidding prolifically. Shilling?
Let me guess, we won't hear back from the OP.
Hijacked accounts don't do auctions as they want quick sales before they are spotted.
Only sold one watch as it was relisted due to an overseas buyer winning it the first time.
Probably items from a deceased estate or selling on behalf of parents.
The low feedback bidder bid on five other watches as well so not shill bidding.

That long!! Goodness how time flies. I remember the argy bargy with the FOS for established sellers to get the hold lifted.

Hi Tippy, from the info I have, I believe the 21 day hold policy, commenced in Australia on 1st August 2018, with full rollout implemented in early 2019. I have never had the hold applied to my accounts, due to continuous selling activity.

No, as stated earlier, it came in towards the end of 2014
My main well establised account was hit, and the account I created early 2014 was also hit, despite being pretty established by the end of that year. I lodged a complaint with the FOS and the hold was lifted in under a week. Same went for others who also lodged a dispute, being established, long term sellers.
Edit: I created this posting ID in 2015, and it was well and truly in place before this ID ever existed.

Yes, it occured to me which is why I put the edit, " If you dont send the watches, you wont get any money from ebay ". One of my faults though is I do tend to think that all people are basically good, until they prove otherwise.
