Hi, Just wondering if any other sellers on ebay Aust are having problems with Australia Post losing some of their buyers deliveries during covid. Looks like they have lost another 2 of mine and I tried to save a few dollars by not purchasing extra insurance. I think I have learnt a valuable lesson unfortunately. 😞

Are you sure they have lost the packages? Delays are up to weeks at the moment, even across the same state. My last two packages took two weeks to come just 60km. Have you given enough time?

JK it appears ebay are siding with sellers atm on refunds for NON delivery. As long as ya pro active on chasing etc and can show ebay that they will work with the seller to eductate the buyer it out of the sellers hands.
By being pro active hitting AP or the courier with location enquiries if the thing has NOT moved for about 10 days. We have found this is working quite well here to get the item/s un stuck in AP massive piles of items forgotten about in storage etc. But the biggest key is to be pro active as will aid ya...

Also another tip if ya can use a padded bag and get it under 20mm and 500gram IT can be sent as normal post. We have found this side of AP is flowing quite well. The parcel side is a massive mess atm and very slow moving

Hi
Yes one of my sent parcels is sitting somewhere. The tracking says that it is being delayed at the processing facility.
I pay for all my postage online as it automatically comes with insurance, and then take it across the road to get it physically
scanned as then it is out of my hands and i have proof that aus post actually collected it.
Anyway its taken a month already and still not reached its destination in a few states away.
This is terrible as the buyer obviously is not happy and always worried about them leaving negative
feedback and as we know can ruin a business on ebay.

We send about 30-40 parcels a week and over the past few weeks the AusPost delivery service has gone from the sublime to ridulous - where will all this **bleep** end?

When COVID-19 is conquered.
You must be flagged by AP. The vast majority of my items are getting delivered, mostly in close to 'normal' times.
