I ask this question as I am aware that in some countries, ebay permits not for profit groups to sell items as fund raising, but I am not sure if this applies to Australia, thank you,

Thanks for the reply. So does it mean that you dont pay any fees to sell things as a f und raiser? Also, I have an ebay account, which is my personal one, so do I need to set up a new one to sell these items, or can I use my longstanding account to do so? I have been an ebay member for many years, and have bought many items but rarely sold anything, so I am not very familiar with that side of things. Thanks again,

No, the fees are payable at exactly the same rate as per other listings on the account. There are no special concessions or fee waivers automatically available.

No, you do not have to set up a new account. The policy applies on a per listing basis, not on an account ID basis.
As per the policy outlined in the link provided by another poster, every single charity and fundraising listing must have displayed the written authorisation of the registered charity for you to fund raise on their behalf.
