eBay Australia has named this Sunday, December 7, as the busiest online shopping day in Australian history, predicting more than half a million items will be purchased on its site in just 24 hours, or six gifts every second.
..
The company predicts a “record-breaking” 2.6 million people will visit eBay Australia on Sunday, and will purchase 510,000 items — 23 per cent more than last year’s tally.

E-Bay is so misguided these days - they are starting to believe their own nonsense - how can they "name" a particular day in advance with such certainty, as the biggest sale day ever, unless they have a commitment from buyers they are going to buy that day so where did these "number crunchers" get these predictions from - they either consulted their crystal ball or made it all up - LOL !.
I know for a fact I did not have 500.000 buyers descending on my listings - LOL !
Did anyone else ????????

It got them media attention so they can continue to profit from the printing of postage labels through their stupid thoughtless returns policy that screws sellers.
End of.
