I had an item *under my seller id, that I was selling for a starting price of $195, I had 20 watchers and one person emailed me asking if I had a BIN price, I said make me an offer and I will consider so she offers $250, I email her saying yes I will add the BIN option to the listing so she can purchase it, I hear nothing from her then I check and she has won the auction but cheaper than what she offered. Im a bit peeved at the fact she didn't get back to me and I changed it. Would u be annoyed at this or am I just being petty? She had plenty of time to get back to me as I emailed her 2 days b4 the auction had ended, even an email saying I think I'll take my chance and bid would have been nice.

Im new to this as well - against my better judgement - but how do you delete an item once listed to auction?

You're right givemeaspell, it would have been nice to just let you know and not leave you hanging. To whoever else is saying that she didn't do anything wrong... well technically you're correct... in the context of an auction. Clearly the person wasn't educated enough to send a quick message to say thanks anyway

Do you really become upset or do you just pretend to ?
Lol as if I would ever let anything said on the boards upset me.
The whole cerise and teal saga was so hilarious that it still gives me a giggle every time somebody brings it up again lol.

This must be one of the longest threads about a NON ISSUE.

Hi, Buying and selling on Ebay is a business and there are no niceties in business. Think of this if you were say buying a car from a dealer in a car yard would you be nice or would you be doing everything you could to get yourself the best price because I know the dealer wont be playing nice.

Hell yes I would be being nice, I would convince him I wanted to jump into bed with him and have his babies if I thought it would get me fifty bucks off the price.
Perhaps we should rethink this one, that may have worked a few years ago but perhaps now it would be better to tell him I promise not to try and seduce him if he will knock a hundred bucks off:^O

I'd consider letting him think I would jump into bed with him ... but no way could I even fake wanting to have babies. I happen to have an absolutely gorgeous body hidden under all of these layers of fat. I just hope he has xray vision :^O
