I have a BROWN black lady lamp (#H3), signed George Barsony & with it's original sticker on the wooden base. It has no wiring. What I'd like to know is am I best to get it rewired, so it's working, before listing it?
Thanks in advance.

I would get it rewired by an electrician but use old wiring and switches if possible, but ensure the wiring can be removed if needed. Also have the electrician attach a "TAG" to say it is safe. Do not attempt to do it yourself, Show 12 pictures of lamp and wiring and tag. Make your description state it is old lamp new wiring. Good Luck

Many thanks Robert, I figured would be best to spend time/$$ getting it in working condition (with older fittings) - would be worth the effort. Actually, since posting this question, I'm torn between selling and/or keeping her as my research shows she's a rare one. Will ponder on this...Thanks again Cheryl
