I thought FVF fees for a basic store were 8.0%???? Am I wrong here?
I was just scanning my account fees statement for the month of June, which I never have done before, and noticed something very odd..
Some of the FVFs charged looked higher than the 8%.
So I downloaded the report into Excel and did some sums.
Just for this month alone I can see that about 20% of the FVF's are being charged at 9.5% not 8.0%.
All our items are BIN items. No auctions.
So it seems ebay are dipping into us for an extra 1.5% in about 20% of cases.
I have no idea how long this may have been going on but it seems to me that we may be being overcharged here.
Unless you checked you would never know.
Can anyone else shed any light on this?
I'm sure if I contact ebay and ask them to check my entire account for the past 12-months they will not do it.
It will be down to me to highlight the individual errors and claim back a specific amount.
I am less than impressed at the moment I can tell yas.

I see you have trims in crafts, crafts come under collectables would you believe. I have a store and come under that class, even though I only sell crafts. I was confused at first also, but someone put me right.
One thing you can have with your crafts , is auctions.

I had the same problem, CS told me that I had to end all listings and relist before I could get the lower FVF fees.
I would not accept this from them as it does not say anything about ending all listings when either opening a new store or upgrading?
I certainly was not going to end over 400 listings and relist especially with mulitple variation listings, that meant all previous sales and what was left would be lost
After an hour on the phone they agrred with me that there was nothing in writing re this and they added up all the listings affected and there were a lot..and gave me credits.
If I had not persisted they would have fobbed me off.
But when I said Well show me where this is wirrtne in the policy.. they could not
So give them a call and ask to speak to the supervisor, and is they say that the above is the reason..tell them to show you!!!
Hope this helps

As someone else said, Crafts comes under Collectables and attracts the higher fee of 9.5%.
