Been 2 weeks from date of sale and payment has yet to be sent

And somehow, I don't think the buyer will pay (judging by positive feedback received to his account stating "Fast payment!" after date of my own sale w him). I've sent invoices and the buyer hasn't tried to communicate with me. What course of action am I able to take and within what time frame?

Open an unpaid item dispute, wait 4 days & close-ebay will issue the pest with a non payer & strike & you can either offer to underbidder-if there was one-or relist.

Click on item,look over to right,Resolve a Problem-simple.

If buyer has not paid or contacted you I would file non paying bidder report now. That gives them 4 more days then you can close and get your fees back.

You have been very patient would normally have started the report around day 6 or 7 if I have not heard from the customer.

seriously I don't understand some peoples mentalities when they bid on something - if they're not willing or able to pay then why did they bid? >_>

but thanks a bunch guys !

Thats heaps of time you have waited, non payer dispute is the best course of action to get your final value fee back, you might hear from them also when you open it too. Open it and wait four days and close it, they have an extra chance to pay in these 4 days.

daiiara, there are many new bidders who think they can bid on several items, win one and forget about the rest.

If everyone as a seller opens a case, they soon get the message as they can't bid on items where the seller has blocks in place. 😉

If you haven't already, hover over account tab, select site preferences, scroll to buyer requirements. To the right, show and edit. Set your blocks and you can also add ID's to a Block Bidders List.

BTW opening a dispute often spurs a buyer to pay, so a good idea not to wait too long to open a case. Like already suggested, I open a case at 5-7 days if no response from the buyer.

Happy ebaying. 🙂
