As eBay has been unhappy with some of my photos, and I also wanted up upgrade a lot of them, I have been systematically going through my unsold items in preparation for this 200 free weekend. (Normally I would just click on 'relist' the lot.)
I have been unpleasantly surprised to find that some of my listings are apparently now minus photos (they were there on the original listing), others have been converted to HTML (and as I don't even know what it is I would never use it!!), some typefaces have changed to what I originally formatted.
The missing photos and the HTML are what concern me most. Would one of you who seem to know eBay inside out please explain how this could happen. I haven't changed anything from the original listing - so why????
No wonder certain items haven't attracted much interest if buyers can't see what I'm selling, or it's in whatever language HTML is in....!!!

Do you use IE as your browser? It has been a problem since the most recent update to IE.
Try the fix in this thread

Or switch to using Firefox or Chrome

I do use Chrome so that isn't (shouldn't) be the cause of the problem. And I have found there are photos missing, and descriptions not there any more as I upgrade each listing on this id also.

I have mine all saved in folders in 'My Pictures', and use M.O. Picture Manager to edit them. All I did was to go to Edit Photos, Resize, then click on to the 'Predefined width and height', selected the 'large' document (1024x768). This fixed the photos that didn't comply. Obviously I had to remove the 'non-complying' photo and re-load the new one. Because as we all know 'Buyers love big pictures' (tongue firmly in cheek!!!)
Other that what I have put above, I can't help you on this one. You may just have to wait till you sell off your 150 non-complying listings. And I suppose it also depends on whether eBay gets antsy and won't allow non-complying photos in the future.
I had over 120,000 photos from 2 years ebaying in my trash on the laptop, so deleted them all a few weeks ago. Guess I just wait for some warning that ebay are going to delete listings and worry about it then.

It seems that you and PJ have the same 'round tuit'. I would have made a trio, only that I really did want to get some decent photos up, and then found all those (as mentioned) weird things going on. Still got to through my 3rd id.....2nd one was bad enough. I wonder what I'm going to strike next...!!!
