So I'm browsing the Ebay.com and Ebay.co.uk sites today (yes I'm bored) and come across businesses for sale. Some great ideas in there, but what even the Brits can't escape is an ENTIRE business sold from....you guessed it......China.

Why sell 99c products when you can go for broke and try sell an multi-million GBP "business".
Oh, and there's at least a quantity of 10.
Seems totally legit.
Let me get out my chequebook.....

I am a simple girl - I see a Discworld reference, I give kudos.*
*I am not actually all that well-versed with Terry Pratchett's books, so in truth I recognise very few references.

Paypal will be licking their lips in anticipation of the fees they will receive from any of those sales....and just think, they will only be liable for refunds of $20,000 when the buyers work out they have been scammed.

getting a laboratory without scientists is like getting a battery operated toy at Christmas without batteries
Selling toys in the UK batteries have to be included so perhaps you could argue that scientists should be included even if they are not mentioned in the listing.

Oh Lyndal, I can't believe that you are suggesting these are scam listings. Shame on you! Shame, shame, shame. Look at the photos, so clear and colourful. Then there's the well constructed, easy to understand, concise descriptions. There is no way these listings are not 100% legit! The seller sounds very honest and trustworthy.

Not suggesting anything Tippy.....I said it straight out.
The only reason I can see that ebay and paypal would allow the listing is because of their potential windfall in the fees.

I wonder if these listings are actually Nigerian scams made to look like they're based in China and offered to the unsuspecting British public.
LOL.

Because they have listed in China there seems to be no selling limits or the accounts could be linked to a
bigger account.
As to why they are still up,that's probably because they can't be reported to their Trust & Safety via Help &
Contact,(they can only be reported via the listing format so the agent looking at the report may have no
idea why they were reported).
They still have: (The listing has items being sold without the owner's authorization. You didn't bid ) at the
bottom of the report,(which means the agent may contact them to confirm that they haven't been hijacked
and then just allow them to keep selling).
I've reported them via our Trust & Safety and asked them to pass it on to the UK counterparts,(I've added a
blurb on how stupid their report sytem now is as it will now allow more of these scammers to list fraudulent
items as they can't be reported succesfully),

LOL.
Unfortunately the Chinese scammers have learned from the Nigerians and they seem to be just as bad as
them at times,(just look at these listings).
Normally they list lower priced items that sell quickly for a smaller but more regular income,

And how is it that the ladies selling their 'cleaning' businesses
all have short skirts and loooong legs?
