Hi Everyone,
I just want to ask about other people's buyer requirements, if you have any set up at all, or possibly (if you are willing to share) what they are?
I ask because earlier this month i threw a tantrum over non paying buyers... So i set mine up.
This is it:
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 6 Month(s) |
Have 4 Policy Violation report(s) within 6 Month(s) |
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower |
Have a feedback score of 0 or lower and haven't gone through phone verification |
According to my buyer requirements activity log, 8 people have tried to bid on my items, all but one for too many unpaid item strikes...
the other was a newbie that had not gone through phone verification....
My question is: Am i being too harsh? I know that i'm potentially lowering the prices of my auction items, but i also don't want to be stuffed around with non payers...
Even now i have two items that are over a week sold and still no payments....
Thanks

Wow!
That's it! I'm going up to 2 in 12 months then!
I've never had a problem with someone from another country, but in saying that no one has bid / asked to send our items overseas.... Knock on wood!
Thanks BigBrick!

You're too lenient with this one.
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 6 Month(s)
I'd make it 12 months 🙂

I did all the blocks, but 2 strikes for 12 months. Only lasted about 2 weeks.
didn't work, as I had 2 people come to me, one through customer service, the strikes were given to the the buyers for various reasons, but unfair from the seller, won't go into that.
I took them all off, and they both bought and paid straight away. Not on this ID.
so am taking the chance , as I only sell crafty things nothing is very pricey.
with the addresses I don't send to, I only send overseas on this ID, well that didn't work, I clicked onto the 4 countries I sent to, not world wide, and 2 people bought from european countries, that I didn't send to. ( haven't heard back from them yet)
I had to go back into my international postage and click onto all the countries I don't send to as well.
so there is for and against it. Buyers can't get -1 now days. ( well not in Australia)

Harley - mine list on this ID is two pages long. Mostly for Too Many Unpaid Strikes. And some of those knocked back have feedback in the 1000's so should know better.
If you look at the item numbers of the attempted purchases, then see that a (0)buyer has just purchased it....makes you think, dosen't it.
I had one buyer ask for me to put her on my exemption list because she had too many strikes. Along with her request was 'if you don't, l'll just make another account and use that'.
They don't even hide the issue now. Happy as a lark to put it in a message because they know eBay don't do anything about it.
I blocked one NPB of mine so he made a new ID, purchased the very same item again and didn't pay the second time. l can never understand why they do that.
