Buyer confusion over click and collect

I didnt realise Woolworths click and collect was being automatically added to my listing. The last couple of weeks sales have been way down.

I removed the click and collect option a couple of days ago and set it back to straight post.

Suprise suprise ...sales have picked up.

Just coincidence ????????

Yes it is because a buyer doesn't have to select it

Interesting point though.

Perhaps some buyers see it on the front page and think that's the method used then go to another seller.

Considering the bad publicity C and C has gotten over social sites.

But many buyers don't realise that they have options.   Several have come to the boards complaining that they cannot take advantage of the Free C & C becaue they dont liver near Woolworths.

They took a lot of convincing that the seller could also send directly to them with the same Free postage.

I agree there must be some connection as I have had exactly the same experience.

Saw that I'd been automatically been "opted in" for C&C, removed in and all of a sudden sold as many items in one week as I'd sold over the previous month.
