I sold my camera as I was not using it as much as it should be used, camera was always stored in protective case and had screen folded closed so not to damage the screen, uv filter on lens. Im very particular with my technology, I never once had a problem with it and it was fully tested and working.
Camera got sold on the 7th of October and sent in the original box that was put inside an Australia post box with a massive amount of bubble wrap.
Now in the last 2 weeks the buyer is claiming the camera doesn't charge which I know it was as I fully charged it before I sent and tonight is now claiming that the screen does not turn on and the viewfinder is fuzzy again never had any problems my self while it was in my possession.
The buyer has had the camera for well over a month received on the 17th of October and said the camera is great so I feel like the buyer has damaged the camera themselves and trying to scam me to get a refund please help.

IF the buyer has made a claim, point out to eBay that they are out of time for the MBG (30 days from receipt).
If the buyer hasn't opened a claim, ignore.

Nikon Coolpix P1000 125x Zoom Digital Camera - Black for sale online | eBay
yes, they're out of time with eBay......but might still choose chargeback via their bank....or they have 180 days via PayPal......have they threatened any sort of 'claim'?
Did you 'mark' the camera in any way, should someone decide to return?

They haven't said anything about a claiming but the fact they are only recently saying things about the battery and now the screen and viewfinder I feel they are heading that way.
I know that my camera was in mint condition when it left my person so anything they are saying now especially after so long just very concerning to me.
What do you mean by "mark"?

What do you mean by "mark"?
....a dot, an etch, something distinguishable for you, in case they return their 'identical' disfunctional item.....it happens, sadly....

OP has a pic of the serial number to verify his camera.
But they are out of time for a return under the MBG - ignore IMO
