Hi, had a buyer bid for a keyring I was selling. She apparently tried to use a coupon - I had no idea what she was talking about, as never had this before. She advised she was cancelling the sale, fine, but then went on to buy another keyring (same) and was able to use the $5 coupon. Ebay sent the payment (total less their fees) to me yesterday. I contacted the buyer to ask was this her and she advised the use of the coupon had been successful this time. My problem is there is a cancelled sale waiting for me to decline or accept. If I accept, I apparently have to refund her on the first keyring she didn't proceed with. As I said, never had this situation before, so would appreciate any advice. Many thanks.

Not the question.
Did she pay for the first one? If she didn't and you don't cancel, you WILL be charged selling fees.

Had she actually paid for the first keyring, if not no hassle.
If so, you may as well accept the cancellation, Ebay will refund them out of your funds, (from that sale) and they will return your fee's on that sale. Use buyer requested if asked for an option.
Or you can force them to keep it, but you will most likely get a Negative for not been nice.

Buyers cannot cancel sales.
If she hasn't paid open a non-paying buyer dispute. She will get a non-payer strike, which might upset her, but you will get your fees back. Up to you to decide, given you could get a neg for the cancelled item.
If she has do as sugar advised.

Hi Dave, she did pay when she went back a second time to my listing (had 10 available) and used the $5 coupon. Guess ebay pays the seller, as she only paid $3 and I received the $8 (less fees, so $6.63). Thanks again.
