Hi All,
I have had a unpleasant transaction over some shoes.Buyer bought with "buy it now".Upon arrival she emails me that shoes do not fit her (all measurements provided in listing) and she wants to return them.I have "returns accepted" in my listing. So do i have to refund the initial post I paid so SHE can try on a pair of shoes?? I hope she does not expect me to also provide return post :0(

The only part that was answered was the me having to refund for "change of mind" .I have been trying to find information about the actual post refund details & cannot find anything,so thought I'd ask here.

Sorry, I checked the link & had not realised there were more discussions on the thread.Someone has suggested that they would not pay the post, but I was wondering if Ebay had any actualy rules.I just want to do this by the book so I am covered.I have agreed to the buyer returning shoes already.
Buyer has now threatened to report me for selling "fake chinese knock off's" (her words) which the shoes are most definately not.Difficult person with an agenda??

Sorry -
No, you are not required to pay for return post, if the buyer goes thru dispute paypal will ask them to return to you at their cost. However, as a seller I do pay return if it has been my error (typo in size etc) or even if the item is not exactly the right colour etc (I usually send a pre paid satchel and the buyer simply has to pop it in a post box) Having said that a seller is not uner any obligation to do so. If the postal cost is less than $10.00 I would usually pay return as a customer service gesture. Really up to you though.

Hi freyer,
we also have unconditional returns on all listings, we also supply all measurements required (standard) if they want any more they usually ask.
If a garment or shoes still doesn't fit after the get it - they can re sell or return for item only refund, they'd loose both postages.
We have only ever had one person who tought she was entitled to full refund, including even a return postage, when she didn't get it she left a neg, it was removed in 5 minutes as the measurements were in the listing.
Ebay doesn't have any rules about change of mind returns, that's up to seller to accept or not.
They would also loose PP dispute for the same reason - unless they invent a different reason for a return.
Cheers, January.

would paypal insist on refunbd in that instance if you have messages that prove the first complaint?
