oh dear, you had the perfect opportunity to say it was authentic and to show what a good 100% feedback for years seller you are, instead you were abusive in Capital Letters, making you look bad, and putting any prospective buyer off
I dont think the one neg would have hurt you
i do think the angry outburst as response will hurt you

Yes I can see it was probably done on purpose. A lot of very unhappy ebayers these days and for good reason most of the time.
I would say this person has changed there ID to get pay back on sellers certainly looks that way.
But other than ringing ebay and explaining that the item is genuine and could they remove it which i doubt they will you will be stuck with it.
Your feedback you left is in violation to ebay rules so is many of the other sellers feedback left for that buyer obviosly they are not aware they can have it removed.
Unfortunatly the buyer has the right to leave it and unless its a breach of ebay policy it will remain.
Just another reason why feedback does not work. Just gives people the wrong message.

OP whilst I think you could have worded "more professionally" and should have kept comment in lower case, I don't think your comment is "abusive" relative to other abusive feedback l have seen ๐ฎ
That sure is one rotten buyer and I would ring ebay to report this serial negative leaver. If the other sellers, and other members, file multiple reports they may remove the feedback.
I can only encourage other posters to spend their time reporting this serial negative member - rather than admonishing the OP.

Thanks for all those who have replied. I am aware that my feedback should not have been written in CAPITALS and that I should have waited an hour or two before replying to the feedback in order to cool down!
I have since written to ebay to have my comments withdrawn but I still hope and pray that this buyer is taken off the system before any more members get burned with unwarranted negative feedback!

Have just been on the phone with ebay who will retract my comments. They are also looking into the buyer and all the negative comments left by her. Hopefully this will stop her in her tracks!

OP, your comments to the NEG wouldn't put me off as a buyer at all. You are obviously a very reputable seller. You have just provided a true and accurate account of your experience (as eBay encourages us to do) with a very dishonest and malicious person, who is obviously playing a nasty game and deliberately setting out to destroy other eBayers reputations.

Tell eBay to check if there is another linked ID selling MAC cosmetics ๐

I'm a buyer only, Rogie but I was thinking the same thing as Calsof. Could very well be a competitor trying to discredit you.

I have just finished speaking to an EBay representative who will remove any feedback comments I left for the malicious buyer! At least this I way I don't look like the ogre. They are also ringing her on the number she has provided them to find out what is going on - how she can leave 12 negatives for 13 purchases. If they can't get hold of her or are unsatisfied with her responses, they will retract any negative feedbacks she has left for others as they are now onto her. The guy I spoke to said that ebay now have filed a report on her. Let's hope they can do something!
