Buyer won't pay and gave negative feedback because I did not cancel

Buyer sent email shortly after auction end telling me to cancel transaction as they were not going to pay.i sent them the invoice and requested payment.the buyer refused and has left negative feedback within two days.ruined my 100% feedback.what should I do?

i would open an unpaid item dispute which can only be done 4 days after the listings end.


and if the buyer doesnt pay 4 days after the dispute... i would give the buyer a strike. then contact ebay and request the unfair FB to be removed and they will remove it under these circumstances

no worries


 


try not to leave negative comments in the buyers FB, i know its hard but, thats against ebay policy - the buyer can request removal and you'll get in ebays bad books....even tho you might want to be truthful.

actually, i think if you request malicious FB removal now, before you open an UID, ebay will oblige.

greg, you must open/close the non payer dispute to get your final value fee back from ebay too.


hope your response to his neg will be removed too, I know how hard it is to be professional when dealing with buyers like this one, but.... big but.... future buyers judge you just as much on your responses and on the comments left for you..

Your buyer needs to learn a big lesson, so OPEN and UNPAID ITEM dispute now.


They first bid on the 6th June, max bid was outbid on 7th. They bid again on the 9th, out bid again, and then bid AGAIN on 12th with  winning within their max bid. They obviously had intentions of winning, so therefore they should be made to pay up, or pay the penalty!


 


Also, add their id to your BLOCKED BUYERS/BIDDERS list, so they cant do this to you again.


 


They absolutely deserve a STRIKE for their behaviour.


Take it all the way Greg, and you will also get your Final Value Fee (FVF) back off ebay too, so its important you do this.


 


Ebay will remove the feedback once you contact them about it.

I feel for on this one esp. since you had other bidders so close in the auction price. I would report this person as it's not right. I hope ebay removes the feedback.
