Buyers not understanding how to combine postage.

Does anyone else continuously have problems with customers not understanding how combined postage works?

Example, I get heaps of people ask me if I combine postage (which I do) and then explain that you need to commit to buy each item (but not pay for them individually) and then the postage will combine automatically at the very end. But nearly every time they always pay for each item separately. Or people will buy the items and pay separately for each one, and then send me a message after asking me to combine the postage.

I'm finding myself needing to go into PayPal and refund postage costs nearly everyday. Even some of these members have hundreds of feedback and been a member of 5+ years.

Why is this so confusing for so many members and does anyone else have this problem?

Not sure if a seller doesn't offer paypal.  But even if a seller offers bank deposit, there are no seller messages, or choice to go through checkout to get bank details - you go to paypal login page after your purchase, or if you realise you don't have to pay straight away, when you go back to pay later.  No other payment choices appear in checkout.

I just tried it on an iPod and I got pretty much the same review order screen as you do when you click Pay Now on a computer (showing address, postage method etc), which is where the message appears (if there is one). The seller only offered PayPal and there were no messages entered (I clicked pay later then went through checkout on my PC to check), so I don't know if messages would appear on the mobile version and I'm not going to keep buying stuff 'til I find a seller who has entered one to see if it shows :^O but, even though it seems unlikely it will, if I come across a message after purchasing something I'll try it again to verify for sure. 

As an aside, buying from a variation listing on a mobile device is a PITA.

Perhaps a little tardiness with the postage may fix the problem !!!!

I think it's using the add to cart on the mobile app - can't find request from seller option anywhere!

The app doesn't work and ebay aren't fixing it.

You have to go to the full site via your browser to pay.   Or wait until you can use a PC
