Im wanting to sell items where 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the Cancer Council.
Im fully authorised and have all supporting documentation. If I do this, is there some way I can apply to have the fees reduced or waived?
Can you please advise how I go about doing this.
Thank you.

Hi Lara, sorry, not a clue.
This is ebay policy re charities -
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/fundraising.html
Otherwise go to the selling boards. There are very knowledgeable posters
there who can help you -

- Can I raise funds for charity on eBay?eBay offers both individual sellers and organisations an opportunity to raise funds for charity online.... You can list items and collect proceeds on behalf of charities either with eBay Giving Works -- our dedicated program for charity listings

Ebay is a for-profit Business and not a charity so I'd reckon your chances are similar to Buckley's.

Your best bet is to contact ebay yourself, not the help boards here as we are just members.
If you have all the documentation required then ebay should be able to help you. Most likely your listing costs will be free. I'm not sure about the final value fee but possibly if you meet all of the requirements.
The reason is because many people advertise that their auctions are for charity but it's **bleep**, the world being what it is today.

Oh, ok . . I did miss it. I seem to remember that ebay has pulled auctions in the past where the proceeds were going to charity.
This was a long time ago and I'm not sure if my memory reliably stretches that far back.
Perhaps ebay has actually made a real and a genuine "improvement" in this respect.

I had the transcripts of all conversations as proof and when I queried it was told it was not for Australia just the US.

No, they do not pull listings because the proceeds go to charity, never did. They pull listings that claim to give proceeds to charity, but have no authorisation. That is against the law, and most likely just a scam.
