I seem to attract the worst of ebays buyers. I sell approximately 10-15 items a month and get 1 or 2 non paying buyers. I would expect these buyers to have low morales and leave me negative feedback if I leave them negative feedback because they have not paid and refuse to accept contact. I usually follow the resolution process without reply to get my fees back but all that the bad buyers get, is a "strike". It that seriously supposed to be a deterrent? Doesn't seem to work to me. I have buyer requirements in place to stop this from happening yet I seem to get all the first time offenders that keep costing me time and money.
Does eBay care that a lot of buyers and sellers are constantly being ripped off or taken advantage of when they sell or buy an item in good faith?
I'm sick and tired of dead beat bidders. Why do they bid when they cannot or will not pay?
Ultimately my question remains. Can I leave negative feedback for dead beat buyers and still get my selling fees back?

Short answer....you cannot leave negative feedback for any buyer. Sellers have not been able to leave negatives for buyers for several years now. and if you leave a negative comment with a green dot you will find yourself in trouble, not the buyer.

it has been many years now since a Seller could leave a negative feedback, so that question really does not come into the equation at all.
as a Seller, you should file non payer disputes against every non payer and close the dispute after 4 days to get your fvf back and relist the items
if as a Seller you also put your buyer blocks in place to stop buyers with more than 1 dispute strike from bidding on your items, you will soon see that you dont get as many non payers.
leaving a 'false positive' i.e. neg.comments and a green dot is a policy violation if reported, and just lets the non payers continue to do so.
follow ebay rules, and you'll have a lot less hassle.

As you only list few items, I imagine you get your 30 free listings a months, and when you go through NPB dispute you get your FVFs back, so you are not really losing money are you?

I don't leave positive feedback with negative comments, I have buyer blocks in place and ultimately my goal for leaving negative feedback against dead beat buyers is to help other sellers avoid these people.
How do I lose money? I lose time and sales. I often sell items ranging from $5 up to $1000 sometimes more. I invest in items from various sources to make some extra money on the side so when someone bids and then doesn't pay I have to relist/resell with many of the original bidders and watchers no longer seeking the item as they may have found an alternative or spent their money on other things.

sorry, but it has been many years since a Seller could leave a neg.
just issue the strike and move on , it's all part of eBaying
no way around it.

As this is obviously your first one in over 4 years, you haven't lost very much time nor money with non-payers.
How does leaving a negative for a buyer help me and many others who list at BIN, pray tell? Or stop them bidding at the last moment? A strike does however, so I'll stick to those, thanks.

These sunglasses are a replica pair and not the genuine Metal Mulisha branded glasses.
Did the buyer see this in the listing & decide not to pay ?
