You can't put a reserve price on eBay items except for the motor section.
If you mean you had a figure in mind for a happy sale, you can add a BIN to the listing and the buyer can purchase it that way.
For Auction listings: If more than 12 hours remain before the listing ends, you might be able to add, edit, or remove a Buy It Now price as long as the listing has not received any bids.
revising is explained here:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/sell/edit_listing.htmlIf you want to end the listing early, go to
http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?EndingMyAuctionBear in mind that if you then sell the item off-eBay, it's against the rules...
so if you can, add a BIN price, if you can't, end the listing and relist it at a fixed price for the buyer and tell them the new item number.
