This question has been asked over and over again, a quick search of the boards would have given you the information and how to fix it.
It is a problem with the latest version of IE, there is a fix if you do a search, but it is better to use Firefox or Chrome for ebay as they are much more ebay friendly.

Thanks for your help, I did manage to find it in eBay forum but forgot to delete the question.
I added eBay to the trusted sites list in IE 11 which now works perfectly.

I really don't understand why people have a fixation with IE.
It is clunky, bandwidth destroying, anything but user-friendly.
Just because Microsoft drove Netscape to the wall because they included IE in Windows, doesn't mean they will topple Google. Or Firefox. Both of which are vastly superior browsers. As was Netscape Navigator.
The first thing I do when I get a new computer is download Firefox. That is usually the first and last time I use IE.
