Can I ship without a suburb with Auspost?

Hi there

Just had a buyer purchase An item and I'm using EBay label printer satchels and it requires a suburb but the customer didn't put in their suburb.

I've ebay messaged the buyer asking for their suburb.

I was wondering do I need to enter the suburb to shop to the customer or is address and zip ok?

Should I wait for buyer to email me back or post without the suburb?

Thanks for the help

The problem is that a given suburb name only has one postcode.
But a single postcode can cover several adjacent suburbs. So when you are missing the suburb name from the address it's not always easy to pick the correct one.
Especially in the case I highlighted above where it was a rather long street that spanned across quite a few suburbs.

True, but then if necessary it can be narrowed down - assuming you have street number and name - with Google maps.

Then why not use google maps in the first instance, and cut out the middle man?
