Can I get an opinion if its ok for another seller to use my listing template that I put together and it took time & effort?
I realise they are free to everyone but I'm not too happy seeing the same exact one that I put together from different sites on another sellers id.
Same boarder, picture and heading text.
Maybe I just need some chocolate......................

If it was free for you to use and you did not code it yourself then you don't have any claim on it.

If it's directly copied from your listings that wouldn't be allowed.
However seeing as that is unlikely and I don't think possible, it appears the seller has had the same great idea you had.
Or they have seen your design and made it also in which case I don't think you have exclusivity of that particular design.
Especially if the templates are from very user friendly (just select each item from a selection) type, then it's likely some will be the same.

The template was constructed from a few sites so would be impossible for any other person to do the same.
I suppose I should be flattered that they have copied it exactly but I find that they are just lazy.

thanks Kopenhagen5, very cheeky indeed, I have emailed the seller asking why they would want the same look as another seller and not have their own original look.
Called eBay and they were sort of helpful, they said the same, email seller first and if no luck can fill out Notice of Claimed Infringement from the VeRO program. If nothing happens will just change my photo.

You say you put yur template together using images etc from other places, were these all free to use images or did you just copy them without asking? If you did then the copycat is doing nothing different to what you did.

Free from different template sites. I realise that I don't own it but just seems very lazy for a seller to use the exact one including text.
