Hi all,
Once again I'n back seeking your help. I'm intending to list some jewellery from a deceased estate. The lady travelled a lot and was quite wealthy.
The first on my agenda is this brooch, but I have no idea of it'd value or origin. I assume the flowers are tulips. The greenstone of the leaves looks like some jade that I have, but whether or not this is jade I have no idea.
I can't find any markings on the back.
Thank you all in advance for any help.

I immediately thought Coral.
Checked this out.

It looks a lot like this brooch: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/fantastic-carved-coral-tulips-green-jade-leaves.

Yes! That's it! Are you a member of Worthpoint? Just wondering about its value. 🙂

No, unfortunately I am not.
You can try it for free though, but don't forget to cancel the trial at the end of the trial period or they will charge you (you know, like eBay Plus etc.)

Yes, that's why I'm reluctant. I'd probably forget! 😁
I also found this one, based on the help from you & sandy:

I'm doing a bit of Antiques Road Show here.
There seems some damage on the left leaf.

I think that's just reflections, but I'll have another look at the other photos and have a look at the actual leaves with a magnifying glass 🙂

No, no marks. It's stinking hot up here today so I took the photos in our foyer, where we have big windows, so there's a problem with reflections. I'll try to take some more tomorrow in different locations and better light. It's hard though. But thanks for the input, dom, as I don't want prospective buyers thinking the same thing. 🙂
