Cannot get a straight (or any answer for that matter) from eBay re problems I am experiencing.

On 15 March 2021 I sold a rifle magazine that I had advertised (not for the first time, I have been buying and selling for years) on eBay. I immediately got a message saying I had a successful bidder, who promptly paid, also telling me NOT to send the item until the funds were in my a/c. I then got a notice from eBay/PayPal stating that eBay had authorised to fully refund my money but not until a 21 day holding period had passed (supposedly because I  was a new seller, which I don't believe because that's not a fact). I then got another message eBay/PayPal (I can't remember which) telling me that I should post the parcel immediately so that I could get a copy of postage costs paid and a tracking number which I did prior to payment. I was then advised to submit these details to eBay (an impossibility with their closed access policies) to expedite payment into my a/c. I have been able to impart the shipping number to PayPal who directed me to a "phantom" phone number to sort out my problems with eBay. Never happen!!. I am still waiting for the full 21 days until this stupid policy is up, then I will change my buyers and sellers. Enough of this **bleep**. I also got an offer on a set of stainless Scope Rings that I had advertised. However when I attempted to press the accept offer, I got directed into a myriad of dozens of avenues, which provided everything but the ability to accept the offer. I lost that sale.I don't know if I am being victimised because of the derogatory comments I made in response to comments I received from a seller when I returned his item, which was photographed to scam the buyer. The one and only time I have ever received such comments of a most insulting, disgusting nature.  Avoid them at all costs because the guy is an absolute totally vindictive raving lunatic, And I mean it.That's my beef in utter frustration at being unable to impart such knowledge to eBay, for I have nowhere to turn after this except the WA Police Cyber Crime Squad, which may well be my last option. It is long overdue that this uncontactable monolith, eBay was brought to task and made to give free access to their organisation by their customers.

You have not sold for over a year on this ID so you will definitely be treated as a new seller and have your funds held for 21 days.

Your post is very hard to read....you may get more response if you post it on the selling board.....with paragraphs and larger font.

I suspect your problems may have something to do with the word Rifle.....ebay would just assume you are selling  restricted item.

your post will be modified to remove the name and email of that seller that seems to have nothing to do with your actual post.

Other than that I have no real idea if there is a question in there or if you just came here to name and shame a seller

who has a high volume od sales with a good record

To add, feedback is not for messaging or your thoughts.

That poor buyer now has that feedback on their account to contend with from no fault of theirs.

Gee it must be great, not having to worry about all the ebay  and forum rules, How come they don't apply to you.   Then of course there are the civil liabilities, which again apparently don't apply to you.

You are a new seller as far as ebay is concerned, so the  21 day hold on funds applies (to you as well).

You need to make some effort to keep up to date with ebay policies as they apply now.

@holdf_58,

Your script is so small that it is far too difficult for the responders here to read with ease.

The best thing to do when posting on these boards is to use no font size specification. Just let the font size be as it is by default.

It's also daunting to see a long paragraph without any breaks. I'll copy-paste your post here in more readable format:

Please do, I am sure the 'WA Police Cyber Crime Squad' will be delighted to have their time and energy wasted by someone who demands special treatment and chucks a hissy when not give it

By the way, eBay do not read here and will never see your tantrum
