Some advice please.
All of my listings have had paid postage. I am not getting many views so decided to change all my listings to free postage & include postage in the total cost. I have also tweaked some item costs, titles, photos etc.
Do "watchers" get notified of these changes?
Am I wasting my time?
Thanks in advance.

Iโve had a google and there are varying opinions on whether watchers are notified if an item is revised; some people seem to think it only happens if the price is changed. But really what you want is buyers, not watchers; if people have had an item on their Watch List for the 30 day cycle, and havenโt Made an Offer, or contacted you to ask if you would accept an offer, then they seem unlikely to suddenly turn into buyers.
I hope you wonโt mind if I make a comment about the items you have for sale. Your vintage china and glassware items are in my opinion over-priced, and are not the sort of thing people are buying these days. I sell all manner of antique and vintage items but for some years have completely steered away from listing china and glass, unless it is VERY rare and desirable. Postage kills this sort of item; you can make it free post but that cuts into your profit, and you find yourself packing tiresome fragile parcels for very little return. There was a brief moment 15? years ago (maybe more, time flies) when afternoon teas were all the rage, and trios made silly money, but that craze has long since passed.
I donโt sell pre-owned clothing so canโt really comment on price, except to say that it mostly looks like perfectly normal, ordinary items; not really the sort of thing people are going to be queuing up to buy. And pre-owned clothing is probably the most competitive market on eBay.
Your listings look terrific, with great photos and detailed description; but sadly all that counts for nought if you are not selling things people want (or need) to buy. Good luck.

Thank you for your honesty without being critical, I appreciate it. I am just a small-time seller trying to de-clutter in the hope of making a few bucks.
I have included postage costs in the final cost of the item. I do send out offers & decrease prices as time goes by.
Thanks.

I hope it works out for you. Selling unwanted items from around the home used to be the way to get started on eBay; now with everyone trying to do the same, it has become very difficult.
