Re: Changes coming soon to eBay.com.au (14/08/2012)

and since when does having a store mean you are a business so far as buyers recognise???

Many store owners are not businesses but hobbyists and what difference in service would it make if you were a business or a hobbyist...... the rules and service are the same?????????

Is it Ebay's intention to gert rid of TRS so everyone is on a level playing field again and then you will introduce some sort of bidding pay per click for  listings to be elevated in Best Match? Much the same as the Google new Product Feed?

Re: Changes coming soon to eBay.com.au (14/08/2012)

I have a couple of questions.

About TRS program, it says offer Free Postage and Express delivery option.

Please clarify that we can charge postage for Express Post when we offer Free Postage (for regular post).

Does sales history on items stay the same when we revise existing listings for Free Postage and Express Post option?

Re: Changes coming soon to eBay.com.au (14/08/2012)

As we know express post is not paypal protected so will ebay pay up from refunding the fees we have paid to them and the cost of the item when item go missing?

Express post is NOT overnight when out of the overnight delivery area, so again what is the good of that?

Why not include click and send posted items in your TRS deal as we can prove postage that is acceptable to your other income with paypal.

WHY should we have free post (which would be included in the cost of the item anyway ) when ebay will then gain MORE fees from our postage costs as well as the final price on any items.

So we would then pay fees for the item sold, fees on postage costs that are added to the "free post listing" and fees to paypal.

feebay is the new name.

If eBay uses statistics to determine the changes to their format and what make buyers the happiest, are we able to see some of these statistics to help us as sellers?

Has the government forced ebay to include a carbon tax hence the reason of the doubling of store costs? 😄

Re: Changes coming soon to eBay.com.au (14/08/2012)

I am so angry about this.

Force us all to upgrade to a Featured Store.

But promise lower subs of just $24.95.

OK I will accept that I think.

Then a few months later when we have all taken up the offer increase subs by over 100%.

That is just wrong, dishonest and deceitful.

If you were to increase subs by $5 or even $10 I would say OK.

But to over double subs thats just a kick in the face to decent sellers trying to make a reasonable living.

Be decent about this and reduce the increase to something more reasonable.

Doubling subs after a few Months is just wrong and is just a sly money grab.X-(
