IF fees are paid on the P&H someone will profit from it won't they ?

I am also a small store owner, which will now cease, and of course cannot have 30 free listings as they made me a power seller.
The last month sold 165 items, not a lot, but to me , it is.
Ebay and Paypal can add up the fees they will now miss out on, multiply that with heaps of other small X owners , and I am sure they will loose a lot of money.
Do they care, I don't think so, as the extra shop fees may cover this.
but as a buyer, I have lots of favourite little stores, which will probably go a-wall also.
good luck to all the small sellers, I'm off to the markets now.
I do markets also, some stuff i sell at the market i sell on ebay at a higher price to cover fees etc.
But more people will buy that item and pay postage costs on top of than i can sell at a market paying nearly $50 site fees for about 5 hours trading.
I dont have to worry about thieves, weather, setting up, packing up, driving there.
I have some posters that i have sold maybe two or three in 6 months, i charge $5 each for them but rrp is $9.95 each
These same posters on ebay i have seen being sold for around $15 - $25 each + another $10 postage on top of that!.
You dont get the big bucks at markets like you can on ebay!!

Does anyone know how long the reference to discounts on fees for TRS has appeared on the account activity summary page? I saw (and screen-capped) it for the first time yesterday, but have no idea if it's something I've just missed before...
It says Final Value Fees marked by (*) received Top-rated seller Discount

I've worked a few market days and they can be very profitable aswell as fun if the people you interact with are nice people.

Thanks ๐ I wonder if that means reductions will be a part of the changes to TRS when introduced next year? ?:| Not that I will probably be able to maintain it if they adopt the US standards - 0-1 day handling time, at least a 14 day return policy and tracking uploaded on at least 90% of transactions - I think domestic only - within 24 hours. The last one counts me out as a lot of my items go as large letters and I don't want to make registered post mandatory.
The dumb thing is, tracking uploaded withing 24 hours doesn't mean it was posted within 24 hours. Also, I recently made a few purchases from two different sellers. Not long after, all transactions had the same tracking number uploaded. I expected all items were going to arrive in the same parcel (which they did), and both sellers got an auto-five star for communication due to fulfilling the requirements. That in itself doesn't bother me, but if two different accounts can upload the same tracking number for different transactions, is there anything to stop someone from re-using numbers?

No such luck!

Are you sure they're not just the same seller with two different eBay IDs? That's very odd to have the exact same number by two completely different sellers...

Both sellers are extremely high volume fronts for one very large wholesaler. In fact, there's at least a dozen accounts that I know of that combine purchases in this way, each with between 2000 to 200 000 FB, so they're not really an individual seller managing more than one account, but I knew they were connected.
However, the fact that it is possible for more than one account to upload the same tracking number leaves a number of questions about - and possible loopsholes in - the system.
