at least a 14 day return policy and tracking uploaded on at least 90% of transactions - I think domestic only - within 24 hours. The last one counts me out as a lot of my items go as large letters and I don't want to make registered post mandatory.
That better not become reality. It would literally put me out of business.
If someone buyers a pack of screen protectors they are not going to want to pay the extra $3 to have them sent express.
Letter post is generally quite reliable and fast. Tracking is not required.
If they do bring in such a system I will definiately loophole the hell out of it...

Sorry I meant $3 extra to send *Registered.

However, the fact that it is possible for more than one account to upload the same tracking number leaves a number of questions about - and possible loopsholes in - the system.
Very true and wise to point it out.

I sell a lot of things for about $2.50 to $10 each, if I was forced to do registered post for these sales would stop.
I self insure. So to speak.
I have only ever had 1 or 2 things of this value get lost so why force us to price ourselves out of business. Just to maintain TRS. That is SO SO unfair.:-(
If they get lost I send again. no questions asked.
I would love to know if these possable stupid new requirements will have to be maintained by the Chinese sellers as well.
they seem to get a FREE PASS on so many things.
eBay and PayPal fees and costs for one.
Some of these things may work inthe US where postage is so much cheaper but here it is just nuts forcing it on us.

dickos, I asked this question at PeSA. The ebay people I were talking to seemed to understand that low priced items are not practical to have tracking (registered) on. They said it was desirable that more expensive items have tracking on.

I would also like to know when all these questions will be addressed.
Not a single reply to anything, thats not very good is it eBay.:O

I was just thinking the same thing dicko, NOT 1 single question has been answered...why do we even bother asking them.
