When I purchased the label it said $7.40 as the cost. However when I look in my account activity it shows that I've been charged $7.59.
Is this happening to everyone? Or is it my lucky day?!

You think you,ve got problems. I,ve just purchased four items from the same seller. Listings showed ebay calculated post. I contacted the seller to ask about combined post before bidding and he informed me I could pay the full postage and he would refund the excess paid once he took the items to the post office and got an accurate price. He has charged me $10 ( fair enough ) ,$20, $22 & $30 for 500 gram ebay satchels with Signiture on delivery to the same address. Total $82 for four 500 gram satchels and he has dis-enabled the combine post option for good measure.
It looks like it may be a hijacked account. Over 9000 feedbacks, 100% positive, but only 2 in the last 6 months.and several hundred auction listings. Feedback left as a buyer shows the last six purchases from different sellers have all been refunded for item not recieved. ( how unlucky could you be .... ) Looks like I,ve got a fight coming up. I dont really need that.

This sort of thing has happened in the past and is yet another reason why we don't use ebay labels.
Too much hard work to keep track of it for the little savings to be had for us.
We don't send too many parcels either BTW, but when we do we use Click and Send.
I sent a 500gram satchel via C&S on Tuesday and their prices seem to have correctly updated inline with AP prices.

I understood that $7.60 and $12.05 are now the new correct prices for ebay labels. What am I missing?

I am having the exact same problem - BUT i can't figure HOW to email CS about it - every option I try when I go to help and contact either leads me to select an option which is inappropriate,or leads to a dead end. What channel did you use to contact them if you don't midn me asking?
Many thanks

Best not to email CS, all you'll get is a cut and paste response. Far better to try different options in "contact us" until you get to one that offers "call me back" you usually get a CS rep that way that is more knowledgeable than the usual ones, if you still have trouble ask to speak to a supervisor.

Thanks for the warning. I too have been overcharged on three postage labels this week since the new AP rates started on Oct 3rd.
$7.59 for $7.40 (twice) and $15.94 for $15.75 (BX4 box). 19c here and there may not be much but there is also the fee on postage. It all adds up. Not good enough.

Can you tell me how to send an email to ebay with the screenshot attached? I have the screenshots and I know how to attach to email but how do you find the ebay CS email? Was it through 'contact us'? I have never actually had to contact ebay before.....my good fortune has run out lol! Thanks for any advice.

Hello,
Thanks for your informative post. I sat down today to crunch the numbers on the new post rates and align them to the ebay postage discounts and found your tabled figures. As you may see from another of my posts I was overcharged for a BX4 box this week $15.94 instead of $15.75.
I think that the newest rate for ebay postage of BX4 (5kg) boxes is $15.75. It was $15.35 so must have gone up along with the others. So if a box costs $2.40 (buying 20) then the new rate is $15.75 + $2.40 = $18.15
I buy the smaller boxes in larger amounts but the BX4 take up too much room to store so only buy them in lots of 20.
Cheers ๐

Mine was for the 500g eBay satchel (should be $7.40 + satchel cost).
