Hi Fellow sellers!
I am having issues with combined post:
1) not letting me know when it is applicable
2) not issuing a postage price to the buyer when I recalculate using one of my postage options
The choices are:
Standard postage
Registered postage
I select one add an additional postage fee (.50 cents) instead of another postage fee, the buyer only gets charged the .50 cents
Has anyone had this issue?
How to fix???
Cheers
Neil

Are you using selling manager? If you view the selling manager summary, under 'Sold', there's a 'Buyer's eligible for combined purchases', which will show you all buyers who have purchased multiple items and haven't paid yet or received a combined invoice. (If they pay before you send an invoice, they won't show there, and if you send an invoice, they'll be removed from the list).
When you send an invoice, all you need to do is fill in the appropriate amount for each service, then click 'Send'. You don't need to select a service, per se, as the buyer can or will do that via the checkout, and as above, 'Recalculate' is 'Reset to original'.
For example, if you had postage at $2 + 50c for each additional item, or $5.20 for registered + 50c for each additional and they buy two items, when you go to send the invoice, you can either fill out the post cost for one item in each field, then put 50c in the field as an additional charge so the invoice looks like this;
.
or put the totals $2.50 in the field for standard post, and $5.70 in the field for registered, so the invoice looks like this:

Thanks for the comments so far
As mentioned, no option for combined post was offered (had 0 in that field).
When I clicked the "eligible for combined post" they were there so add them together, both mailing options then showed, I removed one and added the 50c and sent, I didn't hit the recalculate!
No postage option was sent to buyer who then paid
I also notice I have just received "Power seller satus" could this be the reason?

I'm not sure I understand fully what happened, but Power Seller status wouldn't affect anything.
Did you receive a copy of the invoice sent to the buyer? If so, perhaps check that to see what information they received on their invoice as it might help pinpoint where the error occurred.

Hi Digital
I checked her invoice
The first posting details line referring to postage with tracking shows a total of $0
The next line says "other postage choices"
below this is
"Aust reg post $2.50" but is not included in the final tally
last line says "seller discounts +-" .50c which is added in final tally
This is the second time this has happened where i'm choosing the cheaper post adding the 50c and the invoice goes out with no postage fee
Very frustrating

Hmm, did you remove postage options last time this happened? It may be a glitch where by doing so, it invoices the removed option as $0 (because there's nothing entered there) and the buyer will only pay the reg post price if they select it as one of the other options during the checkout, since it looks like it's coming up as a different postage option that's not the default selection....if that makes sense ?:| It shouldn't do that (if that's what's happened), I've both added and removed postage options when sending invoices before and the total has been added correctly, so it may be a recent glitch.
Sorry I can't be of more help; the best thing I can suggest is that next time, don't remove any options and preview the invoice before sending it to make sure it's tallying correctly. If you want the registered option to be the default, you can switch the services and quotes around - i.e. registered quoted first, then regular.
