Complete nut-case buyer ruined my perfect feedback - feeling bad about it.

 Hi ladies gents and others,

 Well I guess we all get one sooner or later but it still is a big dissappointment.

 A nutter has pooped on my perfect feedback.  All over a $10 item (of course).

 

 Story goes like this:

 Buyer buys item. I send with 24 hours. No tracking as its only a $10 dollar item.

 

 Next thing I know  POW!

 Buyer opens a case in the resolution center for not received (only six business days after it was sent to country NSW)

 

 They send a love message too:

"Please ensure delivery by the close of business on 08/09/2015 or refund my money and compensate me financially for time you have wasted."

 

 WOW!

  I immediatley reponded with apologies and an offer to re-send the item as soon as they confirmed iy hadnt shown up on the following Monday. I also sent them  a copy of the photo. - I photograph all non tracked items after they are stamped at the post office.

 

 BANG!

 

 Neg.

"AVOID!!! Takes your money and does not send items. SCAMMER!!!"

 

 

 Yep they neeged my perfect record, caused me the last defect I can afford and wrote this:

 

"The items have not arrived. Please apply a full refund and make compensation for my wasted time in having to deal with a rip off merchant with bad excuses in not sending what I paid for."

 

 Thats right folks they actually are asking to be compenesated on top of the purchase price.

 

 There we go folks.

 Feeling sad and blue over a $10 sale and a nut case 😞

 

 I can only assume thay are filled with fear or hate or perhaps both.

If Ebay get Paypal to remove the money from your account lodge a complaint with the FOS as you did not allow them to do so.

Paypal will after much tooing and frooing of emails back down and refund your money if you have a photo of the item date stamped and passed over the counter at your postoffice. I have also found a picture printed out of the sent item then acknowledged as sent over the counter by your Postmaster helps. In Australia once an item has been accepted by Australia Post it is deemed as Delivered that is our Law and Ebay/Paypal have to accept that whatever they try to say. Certain members disagree here but the Australian Law is the Law.

 

Good luck just takes perserverance.

mr queenslander  dont tell people to break the law  , its against federal law to handle take or photo articles that dont belong to you, once its paid and stamped it becomes the property of the australian post , its  an ofence to tamper with  the mail     read up on your law.  thanks   the op should play it cool as he has done by contactiong ebay and they might  let this go. just like they did for you a once only .

As I said some Ebayers do not agree with the Law or together with read posts or understand how Australian law works. Then again some just like to continue to put rubbish on the community boards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its funny  how after so long  the ebay policys are still there , and fos   do nothing about it , i wonder why.   

and i will repeat once a item that has being stamped by the postoffice , belongs to the aust post , and taking a photo  is ilegal and if the staff member is caught its automatic dismical.

 Right, I have just belted out a long and I hope clear email to Ebay spelling out the order of events and most importantly attaching my photo of the letter post marked the day after the buyer bought it.

 I am lucky that my Post Office are kind and reasonable and let me line up and snap off photos as they mark them off. I usually have quite a few parcels for them too, so its all routine. They then just keep the mail over the counter.

 I think the fact that the Ebay bloke actually asked for the photo is a good thing. I didnt mention the actual words of the neg feedback calling me a scammer etc I just called it "extreme negative feedback". When I wrote it out in order, I realised just how mental this buyer is. I repeated emailed asking if the item arrived and offering to re-send if there were any problems. I also sent them the photo with their address on it at the post office. I wonder how they ge "scammer" out of all that?

 I am really glad I called them up and insisted of a supervisor before the brown stuff hit the fan.

How sad again incorrect information posted on the boards. The Postmaster is the owner and a commissioner of Oaths so I doubt Australia Post would dismiss him for agreeing he accepted an article and put it into the Postal system. As for a one off have had success a few times. Ebay/Paypal hate the FOS asking questions as they know they are in the wrong under Australian Law. As for you as per a previous discussions on another subject I will no longer acknowledge your existence or inane comments.

i was talking about a staff member not all of us get the postmaster to sell us stamps,  one of the reasons that law has changed is the scammers ,       but post offices letting people take photos was helping scammers galore ,

 Just checked. Yep they are a regular and completely over the top negger. 7 negs and 1 neutral given in the first two pages.

 So its either pos with "Good Seller. A+++++++" or negs with "SCAMMER THIEF" etc.

 

 So a regular negger.

Where did you get this information Joe?

For a seller who tells all and sundry that his items are pickup only with the occasional use of a courier you have suddenly become an expert on what happens in the Post Office and other threads have shown you to be an expert on courier services too.

Who are you trying to kid?

That rings alarm bells to me.

 

There are two things I find are relatively consistent among people I've dealt with (as a seller), but I ultimately don't trust. I'm not going to outline them in public, though, as I don't really want to fully detail the telltale warning signs I've come to learn.

 

Definitely report their messages if abusive, and the feedback, point out their feedback history, too, since a pattern may be emerging. I'd be contacting the charity too - their behaviour doesn't sound very charitable, nor do they sound like a good ambassador for them. 

 

Since the package was apparently lost in transit, also file a missing article investigation with Australia Post (it doesn't matter that it has no tracking, Australia Post will investigate with the info you have to provide, which includes package size, contents, and delivery address - let your buyer know you'll be doing this, and that you have to pass on all of the addresse details so that AP can conduct the investigation, which in turn will help them discover any consistent factorts that may be affecting their deliveries).
