Hello, I’m in Australia and I recently sold an item to the UK. The buyer has been in contact with me saying they can’t pay due to their currency not being valid. I’ve sent an invoice and they still cannot pay. What should I do?

Firstly and most importantly, have you fully completed sign up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell?
Secondly, if this is the $500 watch then your best bet would be to cancel with the reason 'problem with buyer's address'
Given you are an inexperienced seller, selling a high price, high risk item overseas and they buyer is having 'a problem paying' there is a very high *chance* it will be a scammer buyer
Honestly, have a read through the forum about the number of new sellers selling high price stuff overseas and they end up being scammed
Not worth the risk
