Hi - I have started to notice that fewer customers are bothering to do the feedback after they received their item.... do others experience this as well? What is your percentage of buyers on average who don't do feedback? For me it is about 35% now - seems quite high...
or is it a question of: who cares? But at this rate it will take ages before I get to the next 'star' level. Another case of 'who cares?'
Just curious.
Cheers, Carla

We think for us its about 40% too.

We used to get feedback much more often. Maybe there is a new `system`where the option is not so obvious.
Some of my buyers have said they don`t see the option to leave feedback.
I get reminders from eBay to leave feedback before the time runs out to do so.
I am assuming buyers get reminders too.

I have about 99% feedback left. I also get personal emails with wonderful comments - as said on other threads, these mean more to me on a personal level.
I don't give a hoot about new stars, or any of the other prep grade rubbish that eBay tries to bribe us with to supposedly give buyers a 'better buying experience'.
The nice thing though about getting FB is that if potential buyers have a look at the FB left, it can give them a sense of security that the person they are buying from is trustworthy.

As mentioned already, the messages that buyers take the time to write, mean a great deal also. I always leave feedback if I purchase something. I see it as a way of letting the seller know that I received the items & am happy.

I have no idea of the percentage, as soon as positive feedback is received it is automatically responded to and then I archive the transaction, every so often I go to the bottom of the sold items list and any that are nearing the 60 day limit I leave them feedback and archive, I have no idea how many then give me feedback or not and really don't care, I have more than enough feedback on all my ids to give buyers confidence and couldn't even tell you how many feedback I have.

I'd say I get feedback on 45-50% of sales only.
Used to leave feedback for Buyers as soon as payment came through and noticed the trend of them not leaving FB so experimented with not leaving FB until after they'd left some and the percantages didn't change at all.

I did exactly the same. I've got 2 selling accounts, the store leaves automatic feedback and the other doesn't. The fb rate is about the same for both. With the non-store which I don't use as much I tried leaving feedback at about the day or just after they would have received the item - not a bit of difference.
I've noticed as well that feedback has dropped in the last few months. It used to be 70-80% received, now about 50%. Maybe have to invest in some "wow" factor stuff like small freebies to motivate buyers to leave feedback.

I'm still arround the 60-70% of my buyers do leave f/b
hasnt really changed much over the last few years, although back in 2011 I was getting close to 90% leaving fb
