I have two questions here.
1. Does handling time mean business days or actual days? In other words, if an item sold on the Friday afternoon of the long weekend and I offer one day handling, will I get a defect for posting on the Tuesday which is the next business day?
2. Why does my Ebay sold page show that I posted on 7/10 (which is correct), yet the Auspost tracking site shows, for one parcel, tracking info received and parcel lodged 9/10 (WRONG!), and for another, tracking info received 9/10 (also WRONG!) and parcel lodged 11.30pm 8/10 (just plain IMPOSSIBLE!)?

Question 1. Business days, you can't possibly post when it's a long weekend. (if you get a defect for that there is something seriously wrong)
2. not sure, that's obviously something to do with AP. mine are showing correctly at the moment.

Had the same thing happen through the week. Austpost site said " item delivered 11.45 pm " Didn't think they worked that late ?

When I print my postage labels it is usually late afternoon, but the tracking advice says it was in the early hours of the morn of the same day.
Like info received 6.35 am Oct 7 when it was 10 or 11 hours after that time Oct 7, lodged Oct 8 at 8.56 am (which is the correct time I lodged). Package has gone to Qld & is sitting at the Underwood Mail sorting centre, so presume it will get to its destination on Monday.
Impossible times noted as info received, as some of the items would not have been sold at that time of the day.
Here's an explantation = it's Switzerland time when the info is received (next time I'll take notice of the time when I print the label) - they're 9 hours behind us on EDST. Next time I'm at the PO I will ask why Aus Post are working on Swiss time online.
With your 1st query, it is working business days - our local PO closes the outward mail just after 2 pm & it goes out Monday to Friday except holidays.

I was a bit concerned last week that saw a few states have a public holiday on the Monday, but others not having the PH. I worried that I might get defected for not posting on the Monday, when there was no possible way of doing so as I am in one of the states that had a PH.
I just uploaded a tracking number for an item posted this morning and in the order details, where you can click to open the postage, it says "last scanned Sunday October 12 2014". It's not Sunday ANYWHERE in the world yet, so how on earth could it have been scanned on Sunday?
The Aust Post tracking page is giving the right time and date, but the eBay order details page is WAY out!

Hi Sheeps, Have a look at my post re. 'does eBay 'play' with the DSRs.' I no longer believe buyers are dropping the low ratings on us. The idiocy of the whole action reeks of eBay incompetence.
I believe eBay is doing it. See Cat's comment and others too on my thread. Interesting reading 🙂
Sadly I'm off at the end of the month. Can't take the carp any longer. No sales and plenty of carp = can't be bothered for me 😞

Yeah, I just read that one and it made me worry even more with the PH last Monday that wasn't nation wide. I did message interstate buyers to let them know it was a PH in NSW and that I couldn't post until Tuesday, but that doesn't stop the bots picking it up as me taking an extra day to post. So far no defects (that I know of!!). My stars are all still 5, but not sure how often they update.
