Can someone please explain these numbers?

This is from one of our accounts. Are the higher or lower numbers better, on another account it is

These are all over the last 12 months and I am confused as to what they actually mean

The numbers are how many people have left a rating for each category. If someone has all their listings as free postage, which is automatic 5 stars for postage cost, the buyer can't leave a rating for that. Therefore, if a buyer leaves feedback and decides not to leave stars, they would still get 5 stars for postage any nothing else.

The numbers can vary and in your first example, 17 buyers have left you a star rating on that account. One buyer probably didn't leave a rating for communication for whatever reason. It could have been an oversight, or they thought they had clicked it but it hadn't registered. They may have just decided that as there was no communication, they decided not to rate it.
