Dishcloths from recycled cotton

Hi - I am hoping someone can help me work this out.

I listed some crochet dishcloths made from old jumpers - these were listed as new without tags and there were no issues and I sold them all.  I have since made more - but this time I need to list them as 'used' - these items are not used, they are just made from recycled cotton from old clean jumpers.  If I try to list them as new without tags - I get a red banner that says my title or description does not match the condition and to revise.

This is really frustrating - who is going to search for dish cloths under a 'used' category..... the item is not used - just the cotton from which they were made.  I have been collecting a number of different materials to build up an upcycled site on ebay, but now fear as if I have wasted my time - using recycled materials does not make an item used.

Can anyone point me in the right direction - I cannot find a link anywhere to contact ebay directly about it.  All they need to do is add a new category called 'new - made with recycled materials' or similar and with the dishcloths I am wondering if they will sell at all (listed under a different userid than this one).

Thanks

Re: Dishcloths from recycled cotton

Is this your previous listing

Crochet Dish Cloths Upcycled Recycled 100% Cotton 3 colours available

All I can suggest is that you get rid of the word"old" in the second line of the description; it may be that which is triggering the bot. Use recycled - pre-loved - worn out - whatever. Have you tried using one of the sold listings for Sell Similar - if it got past once, it may get past again.

I do hope it works out for you; I think it's a brilliant idea. Good luck.

Re: Dishcloths from recycled cotton

Many thanks for this.  I didn't think to try to sell similar - I will give it a go and use your other suggestions as well.  I will let you know how it goes.    Old washed and used cotton makes better dishcloths than new cotton as it is worn in and more absorbent.  I appreciate your time.

Re: Dishcloths from recycled cotton

Hi Siddieswans - with your assistance and tips I finally managed to get them listed as new without tags - I redid the description taking references out to used, recycle, upcycle etc - and making one change at a time and managed to get the listing revised still showing that these are from recycled cotton.  Thanks for your help.
