Has anyone actually bothered to respond to those dumb questionairres you get after wasting your time speaking on the phone to Ebay? We all know they never get read and any issues or complaints are never responded to or fixed. A seller on Ebay ranks just above the the stuff being pumped through our sewage pipes by their staff

I get these surveys a bit. I have one now that I hadn't taken notice of and got a reminder yesterday to fill it out. I do as ILMS give them a defect for everything. I certainly answer no to recommending family or friends.

Like you harley,  I always complete those surveys and score every category as low as possible and slag them off big-time, on the off-chance that somebody actually reads them or some PC bot compiles the results. It's just my way of doing to eBay what they've been doing to us for years now.

Gard I must be a whimp with a capital W.

I remember when I first started selling on here, I contacted them over a feedback problem.
Resolved (not to the benefit of me by the way),
So then I get the "survey", I filled it in truthfully, about not being very happy.
Within a half hour of submitting it, I got slapped with a Policy Violation for listing a pair of earrings in Womens Accessories????

Now, I'm such a lump of jelly, whenever I get one, I fill it in dutifully, being very nice, no matter how angry I am.

The only time I didn't fill one in, my sales stopped for a week.  "coincidence?"

Joe, it is one thing to behave like a dog with a bone and never let go of your own viewpoint, frustrating, but bearable in small doses.  However, it is another thing entirely to suggest someone has a problem because they feel differently about something than you do.  That's just plain rude!  I am happy for you that you are so happy with eBay.  I would never suggest that you have "issues" because you feel that way, have the common courtesy to allow others to feel the way they do without applying labels please.

Cheers,

Penny

because some of you are rude with ebay does not mean i have to be , they are not the biggest in the world because they always do wrong, because they are the best ,

its also a disgrace the way some of these posters talk about ebay , would you talk to your boses that way would you talk to your landlord like that, you would be out of a job kicked out into the street, respect  those who let you sell on there site.

tell me penny how is this subject going to help any ebayer, what sort of a question is this from the op, how does it help buyers or sellers.

joe with all due respect I have been on the boards a lot longer than your 2.5 months and have seen the problems that both buyers and more importantly sellers are having with the changes that eBay/Paypal have implemented over the last few years.

There most certainly are problems with the system as it is now, and it would appear that they are impacting eBay as a selling platform for many sellers.

It's great that you have no problems whatsoever with eBay, but please don't come onto the boards and insinuate that because you don't have problems then others shouldn't have any either.

sorry disagree , ebay does not have to allow you or anyone to register on there site, if they allow you to register be thankful , as I have said if you dont like it ,theres the door. sometimes businesses have to be tough , and in the long run theres a reason, we dont have to like all policys , but thats the way the world goes by.
