When I download photos I can only get 25 of them to download and have to do the whole process over again to get the next lot. Any suggestions?

From the camera to the computer so I can put the photos on my Ebay listings. I use the Camera window and download all photos.
I get 25 downloaded the first pass and 15 with each download after that. I have to disconnect the camera close the camera window site and connect the camera again.

Just go to the board and ask your question.
I might help if you gave your operating system, your camera and anything else that would differentiate your question from blue sky.
or maybe talk to the camera manufacturer, as it seems to be a computer/camera issue rather than an eBay one.
You've been around long enough...

have you ever been able to load more than 25 in one go or is this a recent problem? my canon camera auto finds all my photos when i connect the cable and switch the camera on, then i just click the import button on the screen. whatever number are on the camera gets imported.
could be in the cameras settings, do you have a manual for the camera? look under import/export images.

Thanks for the advice. The problem has only just occured and your last line comment was unnecessary and not helpful.

Are you using camera software to upload photos? If so, try dragging and dropping from Windows Explorer (if you use an Apple device, I can't help). If your camera software automatically loads when you plug your camera is, shut it down as soon as it loads. Open a Windows Explorer window, find your camera in the menu on the left (should be located under your C drive). Expand the menu, locate DCIM, expand, find the option relating to the camera and click on it. All your photos should then load. Bulk highlight the ones you want to move and drag and drop them into the folder you want to put them in. Check the folder you put them in to make sure they are there, then delete from camera. Rinse, repeat.

Found the manual which has transferring images not importing in the index. Somehow giving the camera a name in the softwear worked. No idea how i ever deleted that bit. Thanks so much everyone who helped me.
