Hi All
I`ve been thinking for a while about Drop Shipping. Originally listing items on eBay myself, and using drop shippers, but as we all know, its very unreliable, and sellers are left at the mercy of the drop shippers, and that they will post stuff in a timely manner, and well packaged.
I have now shifted focus, to thinking about being the "Drop Shipper", by that I mean, I hold the stock, allow others to sell it, and I post it. I think there is a large market out there for people that want to use Drop Shipping, but a lack of reputable, trustworthy, reliable Drop Shippers.
What are peoples thoughts on this ? A couple of things that come to mind are :-
With the cost of eBay Fees, Postage increases etc, has Drop Shipping become unviable ?
What sort of commission should I work on, or do I just charge the eBay Sellers a price for the product, and they can sell it for whatever they like ?
Alternatively, do I set the sell price, and pay them a commission for listing/selling/handling the transaction ?
Best way of going about finding eBay Sellers interested in using Drop Shipping ?
Do I allow anyone to list my products, or limit the amount of sellers to 3 or 4 per product ?
Any help would be appreciated, as well as any constructive criticism, ideas etc
Thank you everyone
By the way, if anyone is interested in the idea and want to discuss it, feel free to message me

I`ve been using Alibaba for years to source product. Most people selling on eBay do it as a secondary income method, to make a bit of extra money, they aren`t equipped or financial to import their product from China
That is the niche I`d be looking for, those that want to sell and make some money, but don`t have the means, know how, money, etc, to source their own product from overseas.
Gives them the option to sell something, without having to stock it, wrap it, post it etc
Regardless of what they are selling, they have to buy it (unless they make it), so this is the chance to sell, without paying for it till they are paid, then their job is done
