E bay a dysfuctional company .

Been with ebay 20 years . All of a sudden have to verify my account .Provided documentation as requested .still account suspended . Have contacted ebay help continuously over the last couple months . Seem to be dealing with a bunch of dummies , at one point of interaction I had to deal with 6 different people .

At last one person was able to tell me the problem . It was my bank account name had my middle name but my registered ebay name did not . Therefore payments into my account they has been used for the last 20 years has been suspended.

Now the thing that really f...s me of is they suspend payments but they do not mind charging fees and payments for items purchased from that very account .

Do you  reckon I could sue for fraud .

 A

That's ebay money before service .

It's not all of a sudden.

Managed Payments was announced more than a year ago.

Adyen has responsibilities to the Australian financial regulator and has to follow all guidelines. On all other selling platforms such as Amazon and Etsy, your details have to match for legal reasons and all of them have been running Managed Payments far longer than Ebay.

You cannot sue Ebay as you agreed not to do so in the Terms and Conditions when you signed up and opened your account.

There are some people who have registered as Trusts or Corporations who have had a few glitches - are you registered like that or as an individual seller?

Fees are taken from payments for items sold before they are deposited into your bank account.

Thats interesting, I just changed one of my accounts to managed payments.  And it clearly says you Bank account name needs to match your Ebay account name.   Maybe if you read the instructions, there would not have being an issue.
