I received this blunt message this morning :-
Hi mate you haven't posted my item yet ??
Arrr, no ! Paid for order at 6.03pm Thursday evening !
Not 100% sure if it was only our PO, but it wasn't open Saturday morning as it usually is until 11.30 and regardless, nothing would leave there anyway.
Well I've sent a very polite message in response (while gritting my teeth) and guess I will now prepare for a neg when it's received. From the name, sounds like a buyer who would not observe Easter
To everyone who observes the day - Happy Easter

What a "doozie" MB.
Yeah the comminication with them won't be stopped.
They can always contact you via the transaction you currently have with them even if they are on your blocked party list.

I bet they didn't read the description and assumed they'd be getting the beads too? If that's the case, I'd be calling eBay and getting the grey dot removed as you have stated in the description they are for size comparison only and not included in the purchase. At least you don't get a defect for a grey dot now and you feedback still shows as 100%.
I showed something one time with a 10c coin as in indication of the size. I got a message from the buyer saying they got the item and loved it, but they didn't receive the coin. What the? Now, if I take a photo with a coin for a size comparison I mention that the coin is purely for that, it's not part of the purchase. It doesn't help if they don't read the description though. Some people are just idiots.

Yes, I am thinking that may be the case too, because I can't think of any other reason - the title also clearly states 1 x Charm Bead - so maybe they just didn't read anything ! And that's my fault ?!
True, I didn't get a defect and feedback is still 100% which I guess is really what's most important, but call me OC, I don't like grey (or red) dots and I only like looking at 5Stars
Why don't buyers just message first ? In this case I'd say they've realised they are actually at fault for NOT reading BEFORE buying

i wonder if you were selling a car and in the background was your house would a buyer expect to get the house too?

There are some that assume that whatever is in the photo is part of the sale. I don't know if they genuinely believe that, or whether they just try it on, but quite a few people I have spoken to over the years have had issues with people thinking they get everything in the photo. One actually was a car for sale. One photo was of the front while it was reversed into the garage. Buyer assumed they were getting the contents of the shed too, including the washing hanging in there. As I said before, some people are real idiots!

LOL.
When my wife takes pics of our baby headbands and accessories quite often she uses the green grass of our lawn as the backdrop.
Although we haven't had it yet, I'm waiting for the day when somebody asks about the turf they didn't receive as well as the headband.

As your PO was closed (I imagine along with all PO's in Australia) on Saturday, you should have sent it via the Easter Bunny 🙂
I can't think of any other way you have it leave before Tuesday morning.
Happy Easter to you too ! Don't let these 'people' spoil your holiday ❤️

I used to use coins to show scale on items and thankfully never had anyone say "where's the 5c I was supposed to get" Now because I sell internationally, I use a combination of holding things in my hand, and showing them next to a ruler with cm and inches on it.
No one better ask for my hand!!
I had an interesting one as well last night, MB.
US buyer, purchase was nearly three weeks ago, and messages to say the order hasn't been received (not unusual lots of packages are taking around 3 weeks at the moment). They said they looked at the address and it's incorrect, then gave me the correct address. I sat there for half an hour thinking "what the blimmin' he** can I do with this?" Then I looked at the order details, and the address was identical to the one in their message.
